I’m going to start posting more frequently. I promise! But for now, here’s what we got up to in October. Watch out November! If there’s one thing Wellington has a lot of, it’s wind-related sculptures. This was one of the first, on Lambton Quay. Er, yeah. A couple of photos back I mentioned how mellow the weather was. Until this weekend. One of our neighbours collected all of the broken tree branches into one handy pile. The first (of probably quite a few) wedding related photos I’ve never really considered myself a portrait photographer. After this, perhaps I’ll make a habit of it! As usual, Andy & I went to Napier for Labour weekend. Mum and Dad had quite a collection of daisies growing in their front yard. Oh, and Happy Birthday Becky! Last year the springtime weather turned nasty just as this tree began to flower. Thankfully this year it’s a wee bit more mellow. For now. I can never walk past this telephone box without thinking of Get Smart No craftanoon tea is complete without several teas. And the best way to prepare several teas? Several teapots! Getting Devon to feed the cats is easy; riding bikes he’s not so keen on, though. For the first time in our craftanoon teas, we had real china teacups and teapots. Thanks Sarah! I’ve posted pictures before of some of the random knitting that finds its way into the public domain. Are there Wellington based subversive knitters groups, planning these in advance? You’d be forgiven for thinking Devon was getting into mischief. This time, however, he’s going to feed the cats. I guess that’s OK
