September is always one of those special months. The first signs of greenery after a long, wet winter. Daylight Saving begins. And all of that extra daylight after work means more festivals, more time spent outdoors, and perhaps more photos. We made it!
But what I was really looking for today, was the tulips. I was too late for the main tulip gardens, but I think I prefer these ones anyway
And I realised on my walk, one of the stereotypical ‘Wellington photos’ is of the cable car. Here’s my attempt, a little darker and more brooding than usual.
It seems so long since we had such a beautiful weekend…
And what goes better with an art exhibition/fashion show than a little piano?
So sunny, these poor ducks had to find some shade! (or maybe it was hiding from all the small children squealing and playing?)
Even the daisies are out. Reminds me of sitting in the backyard making daisy chains with my sister
This one’s mainly here because of the contrast between the three main colours
Along with the Spring Festival, September in Wellington means Wearable Art.
