One of the big reasons for buying this camera and the reasonably fast, big zoom, was so I could take pictures of birds. With so much native birdlife returning to Wellington, I have plenty of opportunities too!
Today we have two cheeky kaka and a beautiful korimako, who hung out on that branch long enough for me to get about 30 rubbish photos as well as these two.
I took my nephew for a walk around Zealandia – let’s just say that birds aren’t really his cup of tea. He didn’t complain too much though and indulged my many stops for photos
