Blossom Valley with the f/2.8 Art

It was a seriously windy, stormy day to go visiting Blossom Valley for their annual cherry blossom viewing. The fast f/2.8 was very much needed to have any chance of being able to see anything other than a pink blur – so I was pleasantly surprised when a few pictures came out as well as this!

It was bloody hard to focus with the blustery wind making the branches whip, but this camera is many many times faster than the old one, and really didn’t seem to have much trouble at all.

Not pictured: a hot bowl of ramen to warm up afterward, followed by a drive to find Eastbourne’s craziest street (successful).
