Perspectives

You can always dive deeper. Each thing you touch is made of atoms. Those atoms are made of protons, electrons and neutrons. Inside each proton are quarks and who knows, maybe one days we’ll find something smaller that makes up quarks.

So too with the things you can see. There are tiny hidden worlds in the every day. The pollen on a Harakeke flower; the hairs on a butterfly’s body. At the other end of the scale, a new vantage point showing an unfamiliar side of a very familiar scene.

The macro photos in this group were taken with another reasonably priced lens – the TTArtisans 100mm X2 f/2.8. I’ve always been interested in macro photos but never before had the equipment to do it. Now my biggest challenge will be to hold the camera still while I focus the shot. And yes, that’s why there isn’t a photo of a bumblebee here. Buzz buzz
