Otaki forks with the Sigma f/2.8

It was the first sunny day in a while, and after we each went out for a ride, we decided to go for another. I mean, wouldn’t you?

We went to Otaki forks. Yep, it’s a bit harder to get to now after the slip. What’s interesting though is how the road has been reclaimed by the bush. There’s just a narrow strip of chip seal in the middle to remind you that yes, cars used to drive here. Occasionally a red and white marker juts out from the grass to warn you that the edge is *just there*.

This trip wasn’t so much to test the lenses, but if I could ride with my camera kit strapped to my back. It worked much better than I expected. Watch out bike packing, here I come to take some great pictures of some hidden treasures!
