Truth be told, until recently I just haven’t been taking many photos. There’s a lot of excuses I could make but the simple truth is I just never really loved my camera. As a result, it became a chore to take anywhere… so, I didn’t.
I’d been thinking for a while that I’d want to replace it, but didn’t want to spend a pile of cash and not love the new one either. I took a lot of time to figure out what I wanted and what was realistically what I’d use it for. The upshot? (no pun intended!). I’ve found myself with a spangly new Panasonic S9 full frame mirrorless. I’ve thought hard about the lenses to go with it as well, so here we have it! My S9, with a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 II, and a Lumix S 70-300 f/4
Not pictured: we’ve also bought a couple of the cheaper Chinese lenses to have a go – the bang for buck seems like it can’t be beat! So far, we’ve got a 7Artisans 35 mm f/1.4 and a TTArtisans macro on the way
More images/lens tests coming soon!
